We (me & Fredik) left Sweden at Thursday morning for a meeting in Sarpsborg on the way up to Gardermoen. After one night extra with party in Fredrikstad did we drive the last 140km to SCC and arrived there at lunch time.
When we arrived was there already a lot of VW:s there, both racing cars and car for the show and shine.
I must say it was a nice feeling to see when all the cars come to the meeting one by one. During all my year have I never seen so many VW drag racing car at the same time. It was just amazing. I start to shudder when I looked around and see all the cars, feel the smell of exhaust and hear the sound of the engines that rumble. This feeling is just something you get when you participate at site.

After we had arrived did more and more cars arrive. Around 8 o'clock at the Friday evening was the hole area crowded with race cars but even with some nice show and shine cars. 
The coolest club at SCC was DBR. They arrived all the way from Kalmar.
Stians very nice and fast Pro stock. I think everyone was expecting his first 8sec run after his 9.06 he did the weekend before SCC.
Some Swedish power. To bad that he nailed it against the safety fence. Lucky no one get hurt or was injured.
Looks like it's a big turbo in every VW this year ;)

It was nice this time to have a hotel room to sit at when it was raining all the night. END OF DAY ONE. Tomorrow the drag racing starts :D
