Now is it time to start a new blogg. On this blogg will you read about VW dragracing, everything from news to happenings.

First some info about my self. I have bin away from drag racing since 1997. Before that was I one of the members of J-team racing. It was me (Jonas), Johan and Jörgen. Before we started J-team racing did we just race for fun with our street cars.

Me and Johan is racing at Rinkaby in south part of Sweden. This meeting was realy fun with alot of cars and people.

Can you see us at the track? Ron Lummus try to wop my as at the Mantorp Park race way. I can tell you he did smack my as bad :D Ifi not remember wrong was this his first run with the CSP car. I think his time was 6,489 at 1/8 mile or i know :D

This was the first J-team car we hade. We bought it from Johannes Persson that today have JPM.

This car are somewhere close to Gardemoen Raceway today. I hope I will se it on the track someday again. To continue the story did i left the team after me and my wife got our second girl and bought a house.

During all this years have kept my car. After some trips over to USA and the visits to the good guys at BKC did the hunger of getting out back on the track again to big. So last winter did I took the motor apart and did some upgrades on it. One other thing is that I bought a Typ1 from 59 that I have as a daily driver car so now is it not to bad if I brook my 66. First out this time is some stuff from the SCC meeting at Gardermoen in Norway.

We (me & Fredik) left Sweden at Thursday morning for a meeting in Sarpsborg on the way up to Gardermoen. After one night extra with party in Fredrikstad did we drive the last 140km to SCC and arrived there at lunch time.
When we arrived was there already a lot of VW:s there, both racing cars and car for the show and shine.
I must say it was a nice feeling to see when all the cars come to the meeting one by one. During all my year have I never seen so many VW drag racing car at the same time. It was just amazing. I start to shudder when I looked around and see all the cars, feel the smell of exhaust and hear the sound of the engines that rumble. This feeling is just something you get when you participate at site.

After we had arrived did more and more cars arrive. Around 8 o'clock at the Friday evening was the hole area crowded with race cars but even with some nice show and shine cars.
